Dr Alexander F. Blackwood

Dr Alexander Blackwood is an archaeologist and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Human Palaeosystems Group at the Max Planck Institute for Geoanthropology in Jena, Germany, and the Department of Geological Sciences at The University of Cape Town, South Africa. Alex’s research is focused on the evolution of human behavior and stone tool technologies across the transition from the Earlier to Middle Stone Age in Africa.
